The SCORE project encourages consumer participation in renewable energy through co-ownership models, aiming to transform consumers into active energy producers. It focuses on inclusivity and aims to empower diverse communities to engage in energy efficiency and investment.
The transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy (RE) sources requires motivating consumers to change their consumption habits so as to balance demand with a volatile energy supply and to accept new technologies like smart meters.
