This project addresses the challenges of ontology reasoning in Semantic Web applications, focusing on enhancing the completeness of incomplete reasoners. It aims to develop methods for repairing ontologies to improve reasoning capabilities while maintaining scalability.
Semantic Web technologies, like OWL 2 and RDF(S) ontologies have gradually started to be used in many research as well as industrial strength applications, a recent example being BBC's World Cup Semantic Website.
