SCOOP aims to enhance the dissemination and application of social sciences and humanities research in policy-making across various levels in Europe. The project seeks to bridge the gap between research findings and their practical use in decision-making processes.
SCOOP seeks to maximise the potential for dissemination and knowledge transfer of socioeconomic sciences and humanities (SSH) research funded primarily under the Framework 7, but also including key research findings from Framework 6 funded programmes.
The project specifically focuses on improving the uptake of SSH research into policy at local, regional, national and European level, with the aim of exploiting the competencies of SSH researchers for the benefit of Europe.
