This project focuses on enhancing urban living by integrating physical models of climate interactions into Smart City Digital Twins. It aims to improve outdoor thermal comfort and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in urban areas through advanced simulations of environmental factors.
As most of the world’s population lives in urban areas, cities play a key role in the use of energy resources and public well-being.
The quality of life in cities, as well as the consumption of energy, is highly compromised by the heat they release and the Green House Gases (GHGs) they emit.
