The SCARLETT project aims to advance Integrated Modular Avionics by developing a scalable and adaptable avionics platform called Distributed Modular Electronics. This project focuses on enhancing fault tolerance, reducing the number of electronic modules, and improving the efficiency of avionics systems in aircraft.
The first generation of Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA1G) has been researched via European funded research projects;
PAMELA, NEVADA and VICTORIA.
