SASMAP aims to enhance the management of underwater cultural heritage by developing new technologies and practices for locating and assessing archaeological sites. The project focuses on a holistic approach to safeguard these sites, providing tools for effective preservation planning.
SASMAP’s purpose is to develop new technologies and best practices in order to locate, assess and manage Europe’s underwater cultural heritage in a more effective way than is possible today.
