This project investigates the role of specific proteins in the biosynthesis of a hydrogenase enzyme in Salmonella bacteria. By understanding these mechanisms, the project aims to develop new compounds that inhibit hydrogenase activity, potentially leading to novel treatments for bacterial infections.
