This project investigates the original lighting design of Villa Adriana in Tivoli, Italy, using advanced technologies for surveying and 3D reconstruction. It aims to analyze and recreate the lighting ambiance of key architectural features, enhancing our understanding of historical illumination practices.
The fellowship will be carried out in the Archaeology Area of the Department of Geography, History and Philosophy of the Pablo de Olavide University of Seville, with the supervision of Prof.
Hidalgo Prieto.
The project aims at analyzing and reconstructing the original lighting asset and the illumination design process of the outstanding architectural complex of Villa Adriana in Tivoli, Italy.
