This project aims to enhance computer vision systems by developing a Rich Scene Model that improves the understanding of complex scenes. It focuses on creating detailed representations of physical and semantic aspects to enable better object recognition and scene interpretation in real-world applications.
Computer vision has gained considerable momentum in recent years – both in industry and academia.
There seems to be a spirit that the time is ripe to realize grand goals and to bring computer vision from the lab into real life.
