This project investigates the use of Micron-Sized Roughness-elements to control transition in three-dimensional airflow. It aims to understand the effects of noise and perturbations on the effectiveness of these elements through numerical simulations and experimental tests.
Transition control in three-dimensional flows by means of distributed Micron-Sized Roughness-elements (MSR) has been under focus during the last decade.
