This project focuses on the development of a wireless microrobot, the RodBot, for the micromanipulation of delicate biological crystals. By using magnetic fields, the RodBot can non-contact manipulate and transport protein crystals, enhancing the efficiency of crystallography studies.
Crystallography is one of the most important methods for studying the 3D structure of complex biological macromolecules.
