This project explores the biological foundations of human communication by studying both evolutionary aspects and neural mechanisms. It involves experiments with domestic chicks to assess their recognition of communicative signals and EEG studies with infants to identify neural markers related to communication.
The ability of the human species to share information with others is unique due to the fascinating expressivity of human communicative actions.
