This project focuses on changing public perceptions of researchers in the Czech Republic by showcasing their everyday lives and contributions to society. The event aims to engage the public through interactive activities and promote scientific careers to young visitors.
The Researchers’ Night 2009 in the Czech Republic wants to carry on the successful approach from the past years that attracted rather high awareness of media and thus enabled researchers to be presented to the public in an unusual way, exactly according to the goals of the European project as a whole.
The partners entering this project want to play a part in changing the current public attitudes towards researchers.
