This project develops analytical methods to quantitatively assess the vulnerability of buildings and populations to landslides. It aims to create models for evaluating structural responses and societal impacts, enhancing risk assessment in mountainous regions.
Landslides constitute a major threat in mountainous areas.
In recent years the risk assessment for landslides has shifted from qualitative to quantitative.
