The project REVEAL focuses on developing advanced strain sensing technology using Cholesteric Liquid Crystal Elastomers (CLCEs). By creating large sheets and fibers that change color in response to mechanical deformation, it aims to enhance applications in structural health monitoring, smart clothing, and sports gear.
