Deref S.p.a. is developing a technology to recycle spent refractory materials in the steel industry, achieving high recycling rates and reducing environmental impact. The aim is to optimize this technology for various steel production processes to enhance sustainability.
The steel industry is a strategic production sector, however it puts strong pressure on the environment because of the nature and quantity of material involved, gas emissions and waste.
