RESEARCH RIDE combines entertainment and science to engage the public in Hamburg. This project features a special train that hosts various interactive events, aiming to raise awareness about research's role in society and inspire young people to consider research careers.
Hamburg has been the place of four successful European Researchers’ Nights from 2009 to 2012 with around 30.000 visitors and more than four million people reached by the awareness campaign each year.
Learning from our past events, we want to broaden our reach with a unique and attractive concept, for 2018 and 2019.
