This project aims to improve our understanding of galaxy formation by developing a new model to simulate the behavior of gas in galactic halos. It seeks to reconcile discrepancies between theoretical predictions and observational data regarding galactic ecosystems.
Galaxies grow through the reciprocal cycling of gas between disks and their massive surrounding halos.
