This project studies the regeneration processes in the crustacean Parhyale hawaiensis to uncover the mechanisms behind complex organ regeneration. It combines advanced genetic techniques and live imaging to explore the origins and behaviors of regenerative cells.
Many animals have the ability to regenerate parts of their body following injury or amputation.
