The project explores deep mathematical connections between number theory and representation theory through the relative Langlands program. It focuses on developing new trace formulas and spectral expansions to enhance understanding of automorphic representations and their geometric implications.
The Langlands program is a web of vast and far-reaching conjectures connecting seemingly distinct areas of mathematics that are number theory and representation theory.
