REEXEN develops a highly efficient artificial intelligence processor designed for deep neural network applications on edge devices. This semiconductor chip minimizes power consumption and latency, making it suitable for real-time processing in mobile and embedded systems.
Since the breakthrough application of Deep Neural Networks algorithms (DNNs) to speech and image recognition, the number of applications that use DNNs has exploded, achieving the highest accuracy in a myriad of contexts (health, robotics, finance, gaming, etc.).
However, their superior accuracy comes at the cost of high computational complexity.
Current approaches to solve this challenge are cloud-based, incurring in high power consumption and high latency, given their communication needs.
