The project aims to develop a novel, environmentally friendly process for recycling rare earth elements. By enhancing measurement techniques and modeling ion separation, it seeks to create efficient recycling methods that reduce waste and reliance on mining.
It is a matter of strategic independence for Europe to urgently find processes taking into account environmental and economic issues, when mining and recycling rare earths.
