The HIGHWAVE project investigates the physical mechanisms behind destructive ocean waves and aims to develop a real-time measurement system using wireless sensors on buoys. This technology will provide critical data on sea states, helping to improve maritime safety and forecasting.
The ERC Advanced Grant HIGHWAVE is a current project that studies the physical mechanisms underlying the emergence of destructive breaking waves on the ocean’s surface.
