RE-NUP examines how integration laws affect spousal visa applicants in Europe, focusing on their experiences and the education required for integration. The project aims to understand the intersection of marriage and immigration laws, particularly among the Indian and Sri Lankan Tamil diaspora.
RE-NUP will study the implementation of integration laws in three Europeans countries through the perspective of their primary target groups (spousal visa applicants) as well as the nature and scope of the mandatory education acquired as part of integration requirements.
