Re-Match has developed a process to recycle artificial turf by separating its components and converting plastic fibers into usable resin. This innovative solution promotes a circular economy by ensuring that all components of artificial turf can be reused, significantly reducing waste and environmental impact.
The market of artificial turf (AT) has been gradually increasing over the last years, with a production expected to reach 487,4ktons by 2021, with a similar trend for the amount of end-of-life turf being generated.
