This research project investigates the role of family support in the rehabilitation of disabled individuals in the UK, comparing findings with Turkey. It aims to enhance understanding of the social and cultural dimensions of rehabilitation, which are often overlooked in disability studies.
This fellowship will grow the participant's skills and experience in social aspects of rehabilitation.
The research project aims to analyse the role of the family in in-patient and out-patient rehabilitation for disabled people in the UK and compare it with evidence previously gathered in Turkey.
