RatioLED aims to improve the lifespan and energy efficiency of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) by developing a method to measure their internal temperature during operation. This innovative approach utilizes thermally activated delayed fluorescence to enhance device performance.
One of the major challenges with organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) is their short lifespan.
Flow of electric current causes an increase in its internal temperature which damages molecules consequently reducing the lifetime of OLED devices.
