RACISMUS investigates the impact of racism on Afro-Peruvian musicians, exploring how racial stereotypes and colonial legacies shape their artistic practices and living conditions. The project aims to uncover the historical roots of these prejudices and the strategies musicians use to resist them.
Racism permeates the everyday musical practices of Afro-Peruvian musicians, impacting their living conditions across class, gender, and phenotype.
