This project focuses on developing ultrafast quantum optics integrated on silicon chips to advance all-optical quantum computing. It aims to create components that operate at the single photon level, enabling secure communications and enhanced computational capabilities.
The central aim of this proposal is to design and experimentally demonstrate ultrafast quantum optics in guided-wave circuits integrated on a silicon chip for a new generation of all-optical quantum computing.
