This project focuses on preserving traditional cereal diversity in agriculture, particularly Quinoa in Chile. It aims to develop management practices that support genetic resource conservation while integrating the perspectives of farmers and institutions.
Traditional agricultural selection and domestication practices have generated rich and original intra-specific diversity.
Farming systems in developing countries integrate this diversity of species and varieties to cope with the variability of the lands farmed.
