This project focuses on enhancing superconducting quantum computing by developing methods to control the environments in which qubits operate. It aims to improve qubit initialization and accuracy, addressing key challenges in scaling quantum technology.
The superconducting quantum computer has very recently reached the theoretical thresholds for fault-tolerant universal quantum computing and a quantum annealer based on superconducting quantum bits, qubits, is already commercially available.
