This project explores the interactions between the atmosphere and ocean at submesoscale levels, focusing on how these dynamics affect climate. By studying Lake Victoria, the research aims to uncover key mechanisms driving air-sea exchanges and their implications for weather patterns and climate models.
The atmosphere and ocean exhibit natural fluctuations at many scales.
