The QuEST project aims to investigate the electroweak sector of the Standard Model of particle physics by measuring atomic parity violation with unprecedented precision. This research seeks to provide insights into dark matter and fundamental interactions at low energy scales.
The Standard Model (SM) of particle physics classifies the known particles and describes their non-gravitational interactions extremely well.
However, it fails to provide answers to various big open questions, such as the origin of dark matter.
