QUADYMM explores new methods to enhance molecular materials for sustainable energy technologies. It focuses on manipulating atomic properties in structured environments and controlling molecular states to improve processes like water-splitting and energy transport.
Molecular materials are often present in forefront technologies targeting new sustainable energy alternatives.
However, most of these alternatives currently fall short of the needs of industry and society. QUADYMM will investigate new fundamental mechanisms that could lead to paradigmatic changes in the design of such technologies.
