This project explores a novel method to enhance gravitational wave detection by using macroscopic entanglement and atomic spin ensembles. The goal is to overcome quantum noise limitations across a broad frequency range, leading to more effective and compact gravitational wave detectors for future applications.
Worldwide efforts are undertaken today towards improving the detection of gravitational waves (GW).
The detection of these waves allows to deepen our understanding of the Universe, its composition, and its creation.
Today, environmental or technical sources of noise of GW detectors are well controlled.
