This project investigates the Heisenberg uncertainty principle using advanced quantum information techniques. It aims to quantify the trade-off between measuring incompatible properties of quantum systems and to explore the foundational aspects of quantum theory, enhancing our understanding of its principles.
Despite the great success of quantum theory, a clear understanding of its foundations is missing; the question of why the world follows such puzzling rules is still begging for an answer.
