This project investigates topologically ordered phases of matter for potential applications in quantum computing. It focuses on the realization of these phases in two-dimensional systems and the characterization of their properties using advanced computational techniques.
We propose to study topologically ordered phases of matter, especially those that are of potential use for topological quantum computation.The research proposed is organized along two intertwined lines.1.
