The PUMMA project focuses on evaluating plutonium management strategies in advanced nuclear reactors, particularly Generation-IV systems. It aims to assess the impact of different plutonium content levels on fuel cycle performance and safety, providing essential data for future reactor designs.
The PUMMA project will define different options for Pu management in Generation-IV systems and evaluate the impact on the whole fuel cycle in addition to safety and performance aspects.Fast neutron reactors with the associated fuel cycle
