This project aims to develop a methodology for identifying toxic compounds in the environment using advanced mass spectrometry techniques. It focuses on linking specific nuclear receptors to enhance the detection of bioactive chemicals in complex samples like wastewater and human biological fluids.
There are thousands of anthropogenic compounds in general use across the globe and every year more chemicals are created.
