The project aims to enhance the Organic Rankine Cycle technology for renewable energy applications, including waste heat recovery. It focuses on developing a multipurpose probe for accurate measurements in non-ideal flow conditions, addressing challenges faced by the industry.
In a scenario of rising global energy needs, societal acceptance of renewable energy and yearning towards energy saving, the Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) technology is playing a relevant role for a variety of renewable energy sources, from biomass to geothermal.
