The PROMPT project aims to extend the lifespan of electronic consumer products by developing a testing program that addresses durability and obsolescence. It focuses on improving consumer information and promoting better product choices through collaboration with various stakeholders.
Waste production and resource use is increasing for electric and electronic consumer products.
At the same time many critical materials cannot be recovered in recycling processes.
