The PROMETHEUS project seeks to reduce harmful food processing contaminants while maintaining food quality and safety. It focuses on developing real-time monitoring methods and innovative processing technologies for various food products to enhance consumer safety and industry competitiveness.
The PROMETHEUS project will help the European food industry reduce consumer exposure to food processing contaminants without affecting food quality or microbiological safety. PROMETHEUS builds on the previous EU projects HEATOX and ICARE.
