This project aims to design synthetic ligands that selectively bind to the interleukin 4 protein, which has implications for diagnostics and therapy. The approach involves creating helical aromatic oligoamide foldamers to enhance binding interactions with the target protein.
The development of ligands that selectively bind to a given protein surface is a challenging area of research with potential applications in diagnostics, pharmacology or therapy.
