PREVIEW aims to identify effective lifestyle patterns for preventing type-2 diabetes among pre-diabetic individuals. It involves a clinical trial and population studies focusing on diet and physical activity to understand their impact on diabetes prevention.
The primary goal of PREVIEW is to identify the most efficient lifestyle pattern for the prevention of type-2 diabetes in a population of pre-diabetic overweight or obese individuals.
The project comprises two distinct lines of evidence, both embracing European and overseas countries:1) A multicentre, clinical randomized intervention trial with a total of 2,500 pre-diabetic participants, including children and adolescents, adults and elderly.
