PREVENT focuses on improving weight management interventions for children and adolescents to reduce future cancer risks. The project identifies barriers to existing programs and develops tailored strategies for diverse communities in Greece, Sweden, and Spain.
PREVENT improves upscaling of primary interventions for weight control management during childhood and adolescence to reduce cancer risks in adulthood.
This relies on current evidence that relates excess body weight with increased cancer risk.
