This project develops a millimeter-wave radar sensor network aimed at enhancing safety in environments where humans and collaborative robots work together. The technology focuses on precise object detection to prevent accidents and improve operational efficiency in industrial settings.
Robots are revolutionizing the labour landscape by increasing production and replacing workers in especially hard and dangerous jobs.
But when men and robots have to work together, accidents occur due to the low efficiency of the strategies regarding robots in the presence of humans and the detection systems.
