This project aims to uncover the neural circuits involved in predicting the timing of events, which is essential for various activities. It proposes a framework for studying how the brain integrates past experiences to optimize timing behavior using targeted experiments.
Predicting the timing of events is not only crucial to our survival but seamlessly contributes to everyday activities like riding bicycles, dancing or playing sports.
