POST-PURPLE aims to develop innovative technologies for urban biorefineries to achieve zero waste and pollution. The project focuses on converting waste into valuable products while minimizing greenhouse gas emissions and enhancing sustainability in waste management.
The challenge of promoting zero waste and zero pollution strategies in industrial sectors still lacks optimal technological solutions.
In the EU, waste management is an essential part of the transition towards a circular economy .
