This project focuses on developing advanced point-of-care diagnostic devices to help individuals manage chronic diseases. It aims to create new porous polymeric materials for biosensors that enhance detection sensitivity and provide early health indicators.
A major European and worldwide challenge is tackling the spiralling costs associated with chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease and cancer in the face of a growing and ageing population.
