This project examines the visual representation of left-wing populism in Mexico, focusing on the presidency of Andrés Manuel López Obrador. It aims to broaden the understanding of populism beyond right-wing narratives by analyzing media portrayals and public personas.
The global resurgence of populism continues to have devastating legislative effects, particularly for human rights and media independence.
